Maguindanaon Development Foundation, Inc. (MDFI) is a long-term partner of municipality of General Salipada K. Pendatun (GSKP) since 1990's on Bio-Diversity Conservation and Sustainable Development initiatives for the Ligawasan Marsh.

Afraid for the known opposition of the concurrent GSKP Chief Executive against the Bangsamoro Electoral Code, MDFI accompanied then GSKP MPDC and now the ABC Chairman Abraham P. Masukat.

At the beginning, GSKP Mayor Ali shared his personal sentiments against Bangsamoro Government for many reason like direct services of BARMM Ministries to communities without coordination to the LGU among others, thus, he is not welcoming well initiatives that relates to BARMM Ministries.

Banking on the issues and concerns stipulated by the GSKP Mayor, MDFI Team discussed the overview of the StrIVE Project which is purposely to conduct 2025 voter's education to promote active citizenry in the Bangsamoro by mobilizing Bangsamoro Transition Authority Parliament Member offices to directly interact with varous grassroots sectors and leaders.

GSKP Mayor appreciated the coordination and StrIVE Project briefing and expressed his support as it may become a venue for clarifying misinformation and disinformation among and between Bangsamoro Regional Government, LGU, and grassroots sectors.
