The Project Strengthening Information on 2025 Voter’s Education(StrIVE) of MDFI under Activate Bangsamoro Phase 3 concluded, the tasked of MDFI is to roll-out the Bangsamoro Electoral Code (BEC) in the 10 covered areas inMaguindanao Del Sur named (Paglat, GSKP, Rajahbuayan, Sultan Sa Barongis, Datu Paglas, Datu Saudi Ampatuan, Datu Salibo, Guindulungan, Pagalungan and Datu Hoffer).

 The MDFI were represented at the aforementioned activity by Mr. Norben Tampal, the Project Coordinator for theAB3 project, and Ms. Jahira Ambalgan, the Executive Director. They emphasized the milestone of the StrIVE project:

 - The creation of the MDFI website, which helps theorganization to be more engaging on social media sites.

-The reproduction of Bangsamoro Electoral Code(BEC) and distributed to the different sectors (women, youth, traditionalleaders, religious leaders, LGUs and PWD).

-Voter’s Education and Community Conversation Roll-out inMaguindanao Del Sur.

 The MDFI is thrilled to share with the remarkable impactthat the Activate Bangsamoro 3 Project has had on the communities in theBangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) specifically inMaguindanao Del Sur. Through the collective efforts and unwavering dedication,MDFI have brought about significant positive change and empowerment to theregion on BangsamoroElectoral Code.  

 The MDFI also received an award from The Asia Foundation which is“The Mediator Award” for being able to navigate the difficult situation andpotentially volatile situations with tact and diplomacy in pursuing voter’s educationin partnership with LGUs in Maguindanao Del Sur.
